Michael Coolidge is a visual artist whose practice draws upon various conditions of experience and perception. His work has been presented in gallery exhibitions, festivals, and public spaces, in the form of photography, installation, sculpture, and community-based activities.

In 2008, Michael was awarded a Canada Council for the Arts production grant, and has since completed a visiting artist residency at Nova Scotia College of Art & Design (Halifax), a solo exhibition at Khyber Centre for the Arts (Halifax), and is now involved in a residency project at InCUBATE (Chicago). Michael is currently based in Montréal.
